Heidi Klum was conceived in the German city of Bergisch Gladbach on June 1, 1973. Erna Klum was her hairdresser's mother. Gunther Klum was an director of a cosmetics company. Her father was previously a production manager for the perfume firm 4711. Her home was in her birthplace of Bergisch Gladbach a city of about 100,000 residents only six miles to the east of Cologne. German-American fashion model who is now television host, businesswoman and fashion designer.
